History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bella embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: This woman loves music and to teach people music more than just about anything. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He tends to wear a large grey jacket. He sports a long brown beard, and similarly colored long hair. His hazel unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bricklayer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Map Maker, and he later adopted a second daughter.
