History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends.

Description: He is lean but muscular and is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His dark red hair is smooth and relatively long. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his music dream.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright grey and brown, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. She is bald on top and has large silver tufts of hair around her ears. This brown eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: She was born into a rich family. She married young, but lost her spouse to goblins. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world.
