Portia Stoutman, Female Halfling [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She tends to wear a red poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt. Her hair, while still mostly white, has prominent grey streaks. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines brown.
Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.
History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She was granted druidic powers by her dying sister.
Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and she wants revenge against giants
Ideals: Gifted. Flaws: Ugly, Cynical. Bonds: Immigrant, Enemies. Occupation: Sage
Voice: Speaks in third person

Ghaliver Thorngage, Male Halfling [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He stands about 3'2" and wears baggy red pantaloons and a white scarf. His left hand appears badly burned and disfigured. His moppish black hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he feels threatened by others
