Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His hair, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. He is baby faced.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Miles was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. After a long history of fighting, Sorath and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: She got into the Ruler business at a young age. Quilla was orphaned to a temple shortly after her birth. She was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above herself and to hold her god always in her heart. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and to be a layabout again

Description: He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty tan coat over it, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 3'3" when asserting himself. His auburn hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His eyes are amber and catlike.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He works hard and plays hard.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Umpen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.
