Description: This younger middle-aged woman wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge, and a wedding ring on her left hand. Her hair is long and auburn with streaks of silver, and is pulled back with small tan clips. Her hazel eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. A true patriot, Valanthe would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature flail.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with grey lining and desert motifs, and is pretty ugly. He wears a broad hat to hide his balding. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Barkeep hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his flail with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His red hair is smooth and relatively long. His eyes are green and catlike.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he has money and likes to spend it
