History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He worked as a nervous Bather and found it very stressful. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bather for hire.

History: He was born in the south. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. After a long history of fighting, Ratanák and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Lone was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has achieved small success as a Bookbinder.
