History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Vani was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

History: Adelaide was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Merchant work with an outfit from a few towns over. Merchant work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She struck the Merchant job and began her own company from there.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. While she appears to be a normal Dwarf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has worked as a Mortician like her mother before her.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Mortician and was forced into it by her family.
