History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He now mingles about in high society.
