History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Therai was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and wants to work out more often

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She found a children's book about a Tabaxi Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.
