Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Born to a Ploughman, his mother struggled to pay the bills. After coming to the age of reason, Hugh took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Grisha grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Grisha. Being a Bricklayer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the south. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
