Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. At a young age his father died while driving off some gnolls. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in rapier use. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Modean was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it.

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with feathered hat. Her golden hair is greasy and uncared for. Her gray eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She receives visions of the future at random moments

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Helen and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.
