Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Varis was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Varis took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up hammer and armor he uses now. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Spy.

She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: Seere lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone.
