History: Arannis hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Arannis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Aura was born with his mother's beautiful face. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Aura never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. She has never given up on her poetry dream.

History: He is a Lamia in disguise. A freak accident while working with his Bounty Hunter father left him crippled. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shortbow.
