History: He was born in a small desert village. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: Verna lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the south were limited. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Ploughman they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Tailor, and she later adopted a second son.

Description: He is lean but muscular and wears dark leathers with embroidery. His hair is red and curly. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
