History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Varis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: This malnourished man wears just a tan suit. His brown hair is long and unkept. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He hates Gnomes with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He found a children's book about a Gnome Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and obtaining odd cultural half-orc artifacts is his passion

Description: This western woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She wears blue robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a trident, but if one is not available she will default to her club. She has dyed her greying red hair a little too much giving a sharp red color. Her eyes are hazel.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: She comes from a rich western family. She moved out north to avoid the crime she committed. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.

Description: A woman with a cold, calculating air about her, she wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. She conceals her hand crossbow with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt. She keeps her blonde hair in a flapper bob. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep amber.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. While she appears to be a normal Dwarf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She tends to her Glassblower job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Expand her business; and balancing her hectic life and new glassblower responsibilities is difficult
