History: She comes from a rich southern family. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has achieved small success as a Tanner.

Personality: She hates illithids. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Pyra hails from a village terrorized by illithids. At some point she was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. Some 5 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Pyra never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. His blonde hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a wide-brimmed hat. His eyes are gray and catlike.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ahvain grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ahvain. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Travok lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Mason for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Mason responsibilities is difficult; and to unite with his brother
