History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Pyra hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Pyra alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Griselda was born on a far northern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Sculptor. She has never given up on her writing dream.
