Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Tiaathque decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
