Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Halflings. His skin is dark but he possesses many brown ritualistic tattoos. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His silver hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with music. He constantly tries to fill his life with music. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Hobart is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Description: Standing 4'10", this man wears yellow robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a kukri, but if one is not available he will default to his lance. His auburn hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 6'3" when asserting herself. She wears her auburn hair up. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady violet eyes.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. After a long history of fighting, Volen and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the north.
