History: He got into the Carter business at a young age. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.

Description: This woman stands a little under 5'4" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with broad hat. Her hair is short and red. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are gray.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Born in the west to a Locksmith, Mara learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Locksmith. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Locksmith.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and she loathes her own lifestyle

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Miner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: He is a Jeweler first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact
