Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Cockaby was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Navigator. She has worked as a Navigator like her father before her.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and wants to raise her children well

Description: This late middle aged woman is well dressed, constantly wearing a black suit, blue shirt, and brown tie and is in decent physical shape. Her brass crest is greasy and uncared for. Her eyes are a pleasant red.

Personality: Furrele hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and her religion dominates her actions

Description: This southern man is abnormally tall. He wears baggy red pantaloons and a blue scarf. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His brown hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.
