Personality: Kava speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Kava was born with her mother's beautiful face. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying south to reunite her family. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and she feels kind of lost in life

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her mother worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled mother and took her mother's old job. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
