History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Sarai's homeland. Sarai decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing music.

History: Born to a Guard, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.
