History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Anne was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She's also a talented Carpenter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. A freak accident while working with her Shipwright mother left her crippled. After a long history of fighting, Oolah and her spouse have recently divorced.
