History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 3 years.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants her loneliness to end.

History: Born in the east to a Carter, Hillanot learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Hillanot abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She tends to her Carter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
