Personality: Baern is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. History: Baern was born the youngest of three triplets. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the south. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has taken up work as a Mason and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Az-Adar was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Cartwright. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
