History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and he would like to get married and retire

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Gynnie was born on a far eastern mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Ruler. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
