History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the north. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she has decided she is irredeemable

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He worked as a nervous Laborer and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
