History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

History: Born in the west to a Map Maker, Baern learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Cartwright, but he got bored and became a Map Maker. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
