History: Born to a Engraver, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Dwarves.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Through the years after Baern was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Baern's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His childhood dream was to be a Unemployed, but he was a colossal failure. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: Jane is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and she feels kind of lost in life
