History: She was raised in a plains tribe. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Syllin was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. History: She was born in the east. Numba was born on a far eastern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Servant. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. When Tawna reached her early adolescence her Halfling mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
