History: Berrian was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Druid, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Druid in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has achieved small success as a Layabout.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Sage arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.
