History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He struck the Mason job and began his own company from there.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Born to a Body Guard, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and to protect her home

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Gifted from a young age, Aelar studied abroad. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Fortune-teller. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

She wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty black coat over it. Her moppish golden hair is in a traditional bowl cut. Her blue eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She worked as a nervous Brewer and found it very stressful. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Brewer.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and further expansion of business
