Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Pyntle was born the youngest of three triplets. Pyntle was orphaned to a temple shortly after her birth. She was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above herself and to hold her god always in her heart. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. A true patriot, Jabbie would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the west were limited. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She has all her life been fascinated with music.

History: Born to a Bookbinder, her father struggled to pay the bills. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has never given up on her music dream.
