History: Lucan was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Aristocrat, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Aristocrat in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Through the years after Helen was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Helen's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Beatrice is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.
