Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Birel was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ilanis grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Her childhood dream was to be a Slave Trader, but she was a colossal failure. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Brewer for the past few years.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and obtaining odd cultural gnomish artifacts is her passion

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his spear with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His hair, while still mostly chestnut, has prominent grey streaks. He has several tiny topaz earrings on each ear.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
