He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He tends to his Locksmith job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and balancing his hectic life and new locksmith responsibilities is difficult

She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
