Being a Carpenter kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by orcs. Joan was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the orcs.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Guard but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Guard hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.
