History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Beatrice alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it
