History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her first spouse was a Cartwright, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. She's also a talented Stableman, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Tanner responsibilities is difficult; and a strong sense of loyalty to halfling people
