History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Vaina was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Xanaphia grew up listening to her father's many stories. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Description: This tall, slender woman has the majority of her body covered in plate. Her hair is red and curly. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes drow are coming to abduct people. The war was a terrible time for her, and Ootah does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. While she appears to be a normal Half-Orc, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and someone believes her a fraud

History: She was born into a rich family. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and she is greedy
