History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and retire the richest man in the south
