History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Stacee grew up listening to her father's many stories. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Alain grew up listening to her father's many stories. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and a rival would like her out of the picture

History: Born in the west to a Bricklayer, Umpen learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
