History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Sumnes and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Hethress lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Hethress was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Hethress's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
