History: Claira was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the west were limited. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against drow.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She's attracted to the PC.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
