Description: She stands about 4'8" and prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for her hunting needs. Her left hand appears badly burned and disfigured. Her chestnut hair is heavily combed to the left. Her gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Assassin born in the past three hundred years. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing painting.
History: Born in the east to a Assassin, Hatae learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Some 5 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Hatae never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.
Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and expand her business

Description: A woman with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. She prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. She carries her fan with her everywhere and carries herself as the perfect lady. She has wavy white hair. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.
History: She comes from a rich northern family. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Valanthe fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Money/treasure; and she has money and likes to spend it

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.
History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Description: This late middle aged man wears tattered old clothes and is in decent physical shape. His deerstalker hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Locksmith business.
History: Patrin was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Patrin abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is his passion.
