History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His first spouse was a Marshal, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Cartwright born in the past three hundred years. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Description: She wears a red tunic with black highlights, and long tan pants that bunch up around her shoes. She carries with her a set of tridents on her belt, each one with a amethyst on the hilt. She keeps her brown hair in a pixie cut. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Scribe who has hired her part-time. She takes great joy in being the best Scribe in town.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.
