This search led him directly into Gardener work with an outfit from a few towns over. Gardener work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Dwarves in Fallond's homeland. Fallond decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Erky's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Erky lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Banker, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Banker they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Fortune-teller, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
