Personality: She is mildly Halfling supremacist, though she does not identify as such. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. The war was a terrible time for her, and Andraste does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Born to a Bookbinder, her mother struggled to pay the bills. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. During her travels, Andraste and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Andraste discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Andraste fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Burto was born with his father's beautiful face. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.

History: Born to a Roofer, her father struggled to pay the bills. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Tiefling companion (her 'brother'). She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and her religion dominates her actions
