Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Aelar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Aelar was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Aelar's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Paelias was born the youngest of three triplets. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: Ogthrak lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
